European Day of Persons with Disabilities

4-5 décembre 2017 – Bruxelles (Belgique)
The European Commission, together with the European Disability Forum is organizing its annual conference. This year, the conference will focus on the role of persons with disabilities in their decision making and their right to vote. This is crucial for a better independence and inclusion. Thus, social protection, political inclusion and capacity building will be in the centre of discussion as well as the European Social Pillar and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During the second day an interactive panel will open the debate on the right to political participation.
