Promoting positive attitudes and evidence-based policy for inclusive education

10 décembre de 10 à 13 heures - En ligne
The OECD States that almost one-fifth of students may develop a special education need during their school years. Despite this statistic, access to mainstream education is still far for being a reality for many learners with special educational needs, including many who have a disability. Fostering more inclusive learning environments, which more accurately reflect our diverse societies, help to ensure that the learning needs of all students are met and that all children are able to flourish and fulfil their full potential. The partners of the « Promoting positive attitudes and evidence-based policy for inclusive education » (IE+) project believe that the goal of  inclusive education is real and achievable. Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, the project aims to provide decision-makers (including policy-makers and education providers) with the information, training and tools that allow for evidence-based policy making, that will support the transition towards inclusive education for children with intellectual disabilities aged between 3-18 years old. The partners of the IE+project invite you to join them on the 10th December to discuss how together we can work together we can develop effective, evidence based polices fore education and support the inclusion of all learners in the classroom.
